"Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!” (Ps. 96:1) At Westside, singing is one important way that we worship each Sunday. When the songs are familiar, it is easy for us to express ourselves to the Lord through them. It is important, however, to mix new songs in with the familiar so that our worship continues to have fresh expression. The challenge is to become familiar enough with the new songs so that we can freely worship without being concerned with how the tune or rhythm goes.
